Opera Software has stated (http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/blog/2009/12/17/christmas-comes-early-for-opera-users) that the leaked build is pretty old, and says “Don’t run it, the official build on Tuesday is much better and you don’t risk getting nasty trojans on you [sic] pc.”

Its much faster than 10.1 (not in Javascript yet though ). I remember the opera:config page running slowly and sluggishly in all previous versions. Now its instant. Html rendering seems to be way improved. Can anybody confirm whether hardware acceleration has been turned on or not? It is there in both presto 2.4 and 2.5 but disabled when last heard.

Minimizing menu to icon is available in current stable version as well (looks bit different, but same thing).

It is nice to see that it might become default. There are many ways to do things in Opera’s interface and as for me menu is one of slowest and least used.
