If a mail has 3 labels, the SAME mail will be made into multiple copies on your HD!
It is a bug with GMAIL's IMAP implementation, not TB.
From what I have heard GMAIL's IMAP implementation is not fully compliant with standards.
TB is fine otherwise.
If you use labels in GMAIL that cause same mail to have more than one label, DON'T use IMAP anywhere (TB or otherwise) . Don't know how Outlook is managing this problem.

the reason TB IMAP takes so much space on HD is because VIA IMAP .GMAIL gives one copy of your e-mail for every LABEL on it!!!<br

The new release fixes one very notable bug related to CPU usage and IMAP connections shutting down.
