I am also the person who opens many tabs at the same time and got confused to see the tab clutter. I should try this add on to try to find whether it fits.

I am one of those “users who like to have dozens of tabs open in the Firefox tabbar” and sometimes I do loose track of where specific sites are located in the tab-bar.
In those cases I find the button “List all tabs” very handy – left-clicking on it lists all open tabs, showing the url description in the order of having opened them.
I’m quite happy with it & I never thought of using an add-on.
