The Mozilla Firefox have already started spreading the latest Firefox version with the version number of 3.5.3 to the official mirror servers. This usually means that the next Firefox update is imminent which would go along well with the official schedule which suggests a release tomorrow.
The beta release notes which are currently publicly available mention several security and stability fixes making the update a recommended update for every Firefox user currently working with the 3.5x branch. The bug list lists 43 bugs that have been fixed in this version of Firefox with nine bugs being rated as critical.
Firefox users who do not want to wait for the official release announcement can download the Us version of Firefox 3.5.3. from a file host where we have uploaded the installers to. Firefox 3.5.3 installers for all supported operating systems – that is Microsoft Windows, Linux and Apple Macintosh – have been added to the file host.
Interested users can check the bug list that was fixed in Firefox 3.5.3. Most software portals will soon host this version of Firefox as well on their pages. Cautious users might want to wait until the official release announcement has been made.
A reboot was required after the installation on a Windows system, cannot remember that this ever happened before.

Firefox 3.5.5
Firefox 3.5.2 Released
Firefox 2.0.1 out
When i upgraded main old US Firefox version 3.5.2 to the new US Firefox version 3.5.3, this afternoon, i did not have to reboot? Everything ran smoothly and runs (touch wood on wood) smoothly.
No reboot for me on XP SP3. Now to go and check what actually changed.
No reboot for Vista machines here. But Firefox did told me to Immediately Upgrade my Adobe Flash. Thereafter, I’ve found Adobe had installed an Adobe DLM (download manager) onto my system. Most annoying waste of resources. Hope it removes cleaning from the Registry.
Yo con un par de clicks, en debian 5.0.3, me va aunque capado (optimizado), consume muchismos recursos, en debian, me decanto por opera (aunque la ultima versión tiene muchos bugs.SALUDOS
No reboot needed for me too…
GOOGLE DOCS NOT WORKING ANYMORE IN 3.5.3!!
SAYS MODERN BROWSER NEEDED! WTH?!
FIX NOW PLEASE!!
ACTUAL MESSAGE THAT I GET: “You are currently viewing Google Docs in basic HTML. Switch to a supported browser to edit and share Google Docs in real time.”
No problems for me installing to WinXP.
What REALLY annoyed me was that after installing the recommended Adobe Flash update, I also had Adobe DLM plug-in installed!
I didn’t ask for it, I don’t want it. Adobe has just plummeted further in my estimation. Installation of unwanted software is not what I expect from a reputable (??) company like Adobe.
After updating to 3.5.3 I lost ability to upload multiple files thru gmail and to sites that develope digital photos. Fixes listed below do not work. Can anyone help? Thx.
