True, you can just type in a simple command. When I wrote the utility it was to make life a little easier. By all means, if you like typing, use the commands.

Seth, I agree with you. It is all about typing the following command in cmd
netsh winsock reset
Then what is the need for a third party tool!!!!!!!!

Alternatively, you can reset Winsock from the command line with the built-in netsh (in Windows XP SP2 and later):
netsh winsock reset
Then, restart.

Or, to reset TCP/IP:
netsh int reset all
