The Mozilla team has released version 3.0.11 of the Firefox web browser. The release is currently distributed to all mirror sites but can already be downloaded from various download portals like Betanews or MajorGeeks. The update seems to be a security and stability update if the beta release notes can be trusted. Users are therefor encouraged to update the web browser as soon as possible to fix the security and stability issues that have been encountered in Firefox 3.0.10.
A full list of all 50 bug fixes is available at the Bugzilla website. Cautious users might want to wait until the update has been distributed to all mirror sites so that it can be downloaded either from the official Mozilla website or through Firefox’s check for update functionality. The public release is expected soon.

[...] Mozilla has released Firefox 3.0.11 to servers, adding your run-of-the-mill security and stability fixes and fixing up a bug that had prevented some extensions from working properly. If you prefer the “Check for Updates” route, you’ll need to wait a bit for Mozilla to flip the switch on their servers; if you want to grab the update right now, you can find it on various online resources. Hit the full bug list for a closer look at every change. Update: The release is official. [gHacks] [...]

Mozilla say this is a Beta. You guys know what Beta means???????
You understand that the update is available before it is officially announced?
Version now available through firefox update function…..seems fine to me.
too much fixes ad now what? a broken firefox! 3.0.11 is very unstable. It crashes with the gmail thing. Maybe gmail want us to use google chrome instead, so they crash firefox…just a thought though since gmail is always the culprit in the crashes of my firefox? How about reverting back to 3.0.10 or maybe version 2.0?
