The Mozilla team has released version 3.0.11 of the Firefox web browser. The release is currently distributed to all mirror sites but can already be downloaded from various download portals like Betanews or MajorGeeks. The update seems to be a security and stability update if the beta release notes can be trusted. Users are therefor encouraged to update the web browser as soon as possible to fix the security and stability issues that have been encountered in Firefox 3.0.10.
A full list of all 50 bug fixes is available at the Bugzilla website. Cautious users might want to wait until the update has been distributed to all mirror sites so that it can be downloaded either from the official Mozilla website or through Firefox’s check for update functionality. The public release is expected soon.

Maybe gmail want us to use google chrome instead, so they crash firefox…just a thought though since gmail is always the culprit in the crashes of my firefox? How about reverting back to 3.0.10 or maybe version 2.0?
