After rewriting this script according to my own preferences and even thinking of posting it for use. I have found that this script dosen't even work!
Greasemonkey scripts can not change about:config settings in any way, except for the greasemonkey specific ones.
This script does not work, and i am very disappointed in ghacks for posting this

Please teach a little.

Which is applied by priority if this script is installed in the environment to which these settings have already been done with about:config of Firefox?

The FF settings modified may help increase general browser speed for most high bandwidth users. The network.http.max-connections to 500 is overkill but unlikely to have any negative effects. I went through the rest of the settings (I did NOT review the ad removal or site specific stuff) and they are harmless to helpful. One strange one is: Network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

He sets this to 500. According to Mozilla max setting is 8. Probably just a small goof on his part but if you run the script you might want to modify that one line.

Gotta say this script sped up Firefox quite a lot. I edited it just a bit though, removing some features I didn't want or some settings that didn't quite look right. But other then that, an amazing script!

I'm sorry but, I cannot trust a script that sets network.http.max-connections to 500 ... stupid.
