Each PDF document includes metadata that lists the document title, document author, keyword, software the document has been created with, or the date of the creation among other things. The information is generated automatically usually by the pdf editor that was used to create or modify the document.
PDF editors ship with options that enable you to modify the metadata, but there are cases where other means of editing might be more comfortable or appropriate. Debenu PDF Tools is a free computer program that adds entries to the context menu of Windows Explorer that enable you to work with pdf documents right from the file manager. The entries allow you to work with pdf documents on the fly. They can be used to edit certain pdf metadata entries in a window right on the Windows desktop, for instance to edit the title, author, keywords and subject metadata entries.
That is not all however as the software can also be used to add or remove passwords, edit the initial view, merge selected PDF files, convert selected images into pdf document format, preview PDF files, or to remove the bookmarks of the selected documents.
Quick PDF Tools is a PDF editing application that is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 and 8 operating systems. It is probably also compatible with Windows 10 devices, but Windows 10 is not listed under system requirements. The download of the program installer has a size of about 22 Megabytes in the latest version.
