Well said Dotan Cohen. Don't be surprised if you receive lots of nasty, abusive comments from Martin and his buddies though. He so often gets info wrong and gives out bad/dangerous info, altho in fairness equally lot of helpful info too, but just can't handle being criticised or proved wrong. He talks about v3.0.7 etc, yet aren't we already on v3.0.10? The confusion and cock-up here is pretty damn obvious. I'll probably receive another barrage of abuse for this, again.

Martin, Mozilla has requested repeatedly that people not link to unreleased software. I've mentioned this and provided links. Not only is it dangerous for the end user, but it hurts Mozilla's ability to move files between servers.

I'm unsubscribing from the Ghacks RSS feed. Advice like this hurts users, hurts Mozilla, and is irresponsible.

[...] when it’s fucking out, a little dialog will helpfully pop up in my browser and ask me if I want to update. I mean are there nerds out there that are crouched in their Aeron Chairs rocking back and forth waiting for the literal second they can download a fucking POINT RELEASE?!?!?!?! A new update to the popular Firefox web browser is currently distributed to mirror sites across the world. The release is already available at selected mirror sites and raises the version of the Firefox web browser to 3.0.7. The beta release notes which have been published in the end of February are mentioning that Firefox 3.0.7 fixes several issues including security and stability issues found in versions prior to Firefox 3.0.7.Web Browser: Firefox 3.0.7 [...]
