Atomic energy is also something that can be used as a weapon at the wrong hands........and history is there to support my argument, so programming is bit the same........it depends of the individuals point of you, if you think that you can contribute to make something better then find others that share the same mentality and try to make a difference, if you want on the other hand to exploit someones basic needs then by all means you can try and if the ships want to let you exploit them then do what you see fit. But the point is nothing is for ever and one day we all die......so how you want to go satisfied to be rich or satisfied that you made something future generations might possibly find useful, its up to you and you alone. Life it self is been hacking her own existence through the eons......and is called evolution, can you imagine if life couldn't find ways to adapt to changes. And to all of you Linux was away to show Microsoft and Apple that over paying for their products is no a smart way to make profit from someone else needs, sure Linux is free on the normal users level......on the enterprise level on the other hand it is not, redHat, Suse, distros and their respective companies charge for you to install and use their Linux OS version, and canonical that supports Ubuntu charge for their IT support to companies that use their Linux OS version, so nothing is free, but at least their aware not to be greedy on what they charge for what they offer, imagine mother Teressa getting paid for trying to make this world a bit better for hungry and sick kids in Africa, then she might not had been so motherly.....! And last but not least, Open Source, for every propriety software there is out there there is one that is free, and 99% doing a better job than the paid one, if you were deluded that you and you alone is the only intelligent being on the planet you are so wrong, if you thought of something to code statistically someone else is having the same thought to code too, like Microsoft's fiasco of patenting ideas of software and implementations of them long before they put them in 0101 form, and proprieting and patenting ideas is wrong, it limits the evolution of an idea, yes you keep your idea to yourself and its yours and yours only.....but sooner or later you going to day and with you your idea too, that if after you parted someone else isn't taking advantage of your discovery and profit them selfs, or you can plant your idea, let others share it and nurture it, and see it grow beyond of what you imagined......and is fact for as long as we have to insanely over pay for something that we can find for free.......we humanity will hack and hack until someone gets the point....we are not stupid anymore we are awake we wont tolerate to be exploited for our basic needs, nourishment, health, communication, and entertainment, when all this should had been provided for free or at least in a rate that makes reason, and you wonder why there is poverty and crime! And yes I know i might have gone off the subject........but have I......?!
