PDF is fine for Linux users. And it is much easier to browse than .odf or .doc (which are designed as rw formats).

How about publishing this in both .pdf for the Windows people and .odt for the rest of us? It will save bandwidth.

I really appreciate the articles and all the “how to” subjects, however, I was wondering if the writers of the article could start doing a “program of the day” with a review of the program as well? Something along the lines of what Martin does with all the related Windows apps that he comes across.
IMO with articles that would compare Linux programs to Windows programs, might be beneficial to Window users to see how easy it might be for them to switch to Linux. Just a thought. Either way, thanks for everything so far.

Thank you for the collection, I would love to download it and save it for future reference. That is very much in the spirit of the Linux community, which is free sharing.

However, the doc format is not a standard and thus no Linux-based program fully supports doc. When the files are available in a standard format such as PDF then I will certain download them and link to the collection. Thanks.

A great idea. I actually had already done the same, with a small difference, nameley i had the file split in five parts. Maybay/perhaps a PDF format is more convenient. It would also be very handy when you have a summary page, with abecedarian ranked links to all articles. Maybe it’s an idea to make different abecedarian ranked summary linking pages, for (each) the different operating systems
