The first official uTorrent release for Apple Macintosh computers has been released by the developers. Version 0.9 Beta of uTorrent is available for download on the official website. The software is still a beta and the developers state that it might contain serious bugs but that they think that it is stable enough to be released. It is also missing some of the features of the Windows version.
The Mac forum at uTorrent is already buzzing with activity. Feature requests include a scheduler, auto shutdown or the ability to change the queue order. It is also the place for bug reports and troubleshooting help.
The beta release is currently only working on Leopard Intel Macintosh computers. The developers are working on a PowerPc / Tiger version according to Torrentfreak.
Post bugs or problems in the Troubleshooting forum to help the uTorrent Mac development team.
