Joe Anderson: A belated introduction

As Martin briefly mentioned in ‘Publish RSS News Feeds on Twitter’, I have recently started writing a few posts here.

I’m Joe Anderson and I maintain another Grand Effect blog, Webby’s World, which has been a partner blog of gHacks for several years. My blog, Webby’s World, has been a member of 9rules, a network of quality blogs, since 2006 and I have been blogging since 2005.

I have some experience of writing on other blogs. In the summer of 2006, I was a guest editor at Lifehacker for a week and I’ve done a couple of posts on Rev2.

My specialty is Web 2.0 and although I am primarily an OS X user, I have over a decade of Windows experience and a couple of years of Ubuntu experience too.

I look forward to writing about websites and software which I find useful, interesting or simply bizarre.

You can follow me on Twitter at twitter.com/computerjoe (you can also follow gHacks too, at twitter.com/ghacks)

I just love it, to discover new bloggers introduced by bloggers I already appreciate :)

    Hello Joe, Hello Transcontintental ;)

  3. Transcontinental says:

I’m no blogger, unfortunately, which does mean that readers count as well as bloggers! ;)

  4. I look forward to your Ubuntu posts, Joe. I use Kubuntu and love it. Are you active on the ubuntu-users mailing list?

  5. Joe says:

Dotan: I am not a particularly active Ubuntu user. I used to use it on my PC before I moved to OS X.

Many things are common between the two, however.

I will be talking about Ubuntu software in addition to cross-platform software.

So welcome indeed, I look forward to read some more posts :-P

Congrats, Joe, on your new gig! :)
