Many popular applications have been updated in the last seven days including my new favorite music player AIMP which got a version bump to 2.5. This week has also seen the release of Open Office 3 final and updates to several other high profile software programs like GIMP, Blender or Microsoft Silverlight.
It is therefor not easy to pick an application for the update of the week award but since I’m impressed by AIMP I decided to promote the music player a little bit more with the award. It can do pretty much anything out of the box that many users require like recording Internet radio, converting music files or displaying lyrics.
