Thanks for this tip! I had been using Google Chrome on my Windows PC at work and I desperately missed the combined address/search bar functionality at home on my Mac. This is a great fix until Chrome is available for Macs.

I set Firefox to erase Private Data every time I exit, yet when I re-open Firefox there are still certain sites that appear in the search bar when I begin to type an address. How is it doing this, and how can I make it stop? I want my kids to stay off of certain sites and I've created Hosts files already, but I'm sure you know there are several ways around that. What should I do?
