Yes I work with office 2007 since it was released and I like it very much. It’s just so much better than all the previous versions of office and the ribbon certainly is a part of the improvement.

I do like the ribbon UI, but I hate the fact that you can’t force the icons to be 24×24 or 32×32. A ribbon that tall is just a waste of space.

EMil says:

Yeah, the new office looks pretty cool, so ribbons are a welcomed addition :D

Matt says:

I like ribbons for new users. It’s much more intuitive for someone who’s never used the application before, but it can be very difficult to find something if you’re used to menus. It’s a big learning curve to transition from menus to the ribbon.

First ribbon UI? Has Ghacks lost its memory? o O Defrag has already used the Ribbon UI in its version 10. I have also seen a few other apps if i remember correctly using the ribbon ui.

Bas reporting.

Martin says:

I should have probably made it more clear that I referred to the announcements concerning Windows 7.

Jojo says:

It took a while but I’ve grown comfortable with the ribbon UI.

I love it!! ;)

Bolden says:

I use Mindmanager, they have the ribbon, it’s ok, I don’t really see the advantage, I still have to remember where things are….

Dotan Cohen says:

I really like the Ribbon UI, in fact, it is probably the only feature of MS Office that I wish were incorporated into Open Office. I am sticking with Open Office, however, as it is much more intuitive, and performs faster on the computers that I’ve used it. That, and it runs on my Ubuntu computers as well.

I don’t like Microsoft at all. It’s evil.

So I don’t have intention to work with Vista, Office 2007 etc at all.
