Creative had a very real chance at becoming if nto an iPod killer, at least a strong competitor… the Zen Vision:M was the first device I actually saw quite a few people buying (eg: 3 to every 15 iPods), however Creative never followed it up with a slimmer, improved model and for that they lost out on that Market =(

It was a shame becuase they do do good products…

Creative Zen is the iPod killer. Creative invented the iPod interface which Apple stole. The ZEN kills the iPod with it’s 16.7 million color screen, X-FI & Wirless abilities and windows media support. It also has an FM Tuner & microphone recording built-in.

I always wondered what MS was thinking when they introduced the Zune with brown (sorry, suede) as a color choice. Some people do actually like it though. I have a white 30 and love it. I have played with a Zune 2, and the trackpad navagation is awesome. Super intuitive. I hate talking about a device being an “iPod killer”, but MS definitely one-up’d Apple when it comes to the navigation controls. Can’t wait to see the new features next week.

I own a Zune, and I love it, the UI is much better than the ipod’s, the only downside is the tag management
