Rapidshare Downloading Tool For Premium Users

The creator of RapidWareX send me an email about his new Rapidshare Downloading Tool for premium users that he developed and published at Google Code. The first public beta was released just two days ago and it already received some acknowledgment from various websites.

The difference between this Rapidshare tool and many others is that it requires a Rapidshare Premium Account to function. Users without one cannot use it in this state. It’s a pretty advanced application for a 0.1 beta release. The menu and design looks clean and everything works well and without errors.

The username and password of a Rapidshare Premium Account have to be entered into the application before the other options become available. The software program supports simultaneous downloads from Rapidshare, a traffic check of the remaining free traffic of the account and day and secure login using https connections.

The program obviously supports a download queue. Links can be added by pasting them into the program interface or importing them from a link list. Links can also be exported to share them on the Internet.

RapidWareX requires the Microsoft .net Framework 2.0 to run. A list of Rapidshare Search Engines can be found here at Ghacks.

  2. garbanzo says:

does this accelerate downloads, or just manage them?

  3. Marcelo says:

yeah this app is kinda good, it’s pretty small and simple but it’s like TOO MUCH simple, it doesn’t even show the speed and i guess most users consider this one of the most important features of a download manager…

i’ll try jdownloader, actually i tried this one before jdownloader because in the j post there was nothing about premium accounts.

  4. TjB says:

Please note that every update and/or start of this (simple) program the traffic check of the remaining free traffic will cost you 4mb.

RapidWareX public beta v0.7.1 is working like a charm. I try several Rapid apps, but I was not satisfied with any of them.

RapidWareX is a small but very functional application. I must correct Marcelo, the download speed exists on the top bar of the app, very clearly showing the speed in kb/s.
You can very easily add plenty of links, and it have a pause button (jdownloader don`t have, just stop)
RapidWareX is really a cool app and using less then 20mb of ram.
    Recommended!!!
