The RIAA is driving fans and money away from established, recording industry hacks and right into the hands of indie artists. So, their campaign is ultimately not so bad.

In the end those they claim to serve end up losing and those that were never served will end up winning.

Go and look at imeem.com, playlist.com or seeqpod.com – they all allow you to share ‘playlists’.

What’s the difference between a muxtape and a playlist?

Well a muxtape can have only 12 tracks, playlists don’t have any limits.

Now I’ll admit that 2 of those sites are only playing tracks found on 3rd party sites so you can’t really upload tunes – and playlist.com and seeqpod.com are both getting sued right now.

But if you want to upload then imeem is the place to go. Everything you can do on muxtape you can do on imeem. The downside is that it is legal and pays all the artists so it has a lot of advertising, it’s also hugely popular and is stuffed with people building playlists of their favorite lil’ wayne ‘Jamzzzz’
