Hi I just got Forcefield an I’m having difficulty accessing facebook. Keeps telling me I have incorrect browser version yet was fine earlier in day prior to getting ZA’s Forcefield. This is in IE7 & Firefox 3. Also tested it with Forcefield turned off. Still cannot access.

Anyone else suffering difficulties

Although I much prefer Comodo firewall to anything made by checkpoint. ZA hasn’t been right since they took over/switched names if you ask me.

Just tried it. Gives me a load of connection issues with websites, including this one. And found out it’s not really running in a virtual sandbox. Files downloaded still gets written into real subdirectories.

Whoops. Just saw my first attempt to write to this comment site. Farcefield blocked the repost and made me think the post didn’t go thru.

Just gave this a whirl. Sucks. It interferes too much. Websites, including this one requires multiple clicks in order to get in. And newsgroups definitely gets interfered with.

This reminds me of one short story:

This sums up my thoughts on security by virtualizing. Good firewall+good antivirus are a must. Rest is mostly weird stuff trying to find niche where there is none.

Dante it basically executes the browser in a virtual space meaning that it cannot affect the system. It made first place in a test that I read recently about virtualization software programs.

No 64 bit support for this type of virtualization though with any of these products :( Made me sad when I installed Vista 64x and found out SandBoxie wouldn’t work.
