I noticed this big time. my downloads just decided to stop so I checked rapidshare and found that my download limit was below zero. I'm downloading a 50gb set of files so I keep having to exchange rapid points for more traffic. hello megaupload

Just signed up specifically for a 5Gb download only to find part of the way through it that they have given me a 2.6 Gb limit - what a rip off.

I have noticed lately their servers are extremely busy, they cannot handle the flow of connections...I have been a premium user for years and loved their service however i have been getting download speeds as fast as dial up is lately!! I will not be extending my preimum service.

not fun, not fun at all.

I have used the service a few times.
buying a month twice. but decided not to use them anymore. then they announce that they will be changing their download limit, from a maximum 25 gigs in 5 days, to 10 gigs a day. but it seems that it turns out to be 8.3 gigs a day. some BS over gigabyte definitions.
so instead of downloading 25 gigs at one time and taking a break during their imposed 5 day period. I can only download 8.3 gig everyday and then my downloader stops. so I have to start it up every day.

then 5 days into my 1 month subscription, they impose a 4 gig limit, which translates into something like 3.4 gigs a day. I only signed up because they promised 10 gigs a day, now that I am getting 4.3 gigs a day.
I feel that they have committed fraud, they promised 10gigs and give you 4.3 gig.
I am getting less gigs than before thier supposed bandwidth increase.
As for this BS transitional period, I doubt that they will give me back the gigs lost before or after my monthly subscription expires.

Rapidshare is dead to me now.
Heres the first nail in your coffin Rapidshare.
