NMIndexingService.exe YUCKware
is that when it runs, it prevents Windows XP from Hibernating!
Not sure if this happens on all systems, but
Google for: NMIndexingService.exe hibernate
and you find numerous posts on this.
I just rename the file to get rid of the crap entirely.
Horrible flap from Nero to put such hostile yuckware into their otherwise good product.

The most outrageous thing about this<br

when i look @ my friends computers with nero installed i always find NMIndexing service running and consuming memory and thus resources and i get MAD. thks for the free voice -- hope Nero hears it.

Nero is a giant in burning tools! but this dose not mean that it’s software should run any unwanted services on out computers.<br

I wish all software companies would let us choose which components to install, or not!
...don't even get me started on 'Yahoo Toolbar' - 'Install' usually checked by default :-(
At least it's (usually) a choice!

Thanks, worked in Nero 7 – If I want ‘em indexed, I’ll do it myself!<br
