The color scheme is memorable, and the text is much, much easier to read. I do most of my reading within NetNewsWire, but sometimes I visit the site (particularly when I need to find an old article, or when I want to comment on something). If, in the end, you switch away from this theme, it would be really nice if you could move things around a bit. Maybe increase font sizes. This is coming from a guy in his mid-twenties...so it's not like my eyesight is going. :) To be honest, I like this theme way better.
