The latest version of Firefox that Greasemonkey is compatible with is Firefox 3 beta 5 and users may have asked themselves why no new versions have been uploaded to the page of the Greasemonkey add-on.
The Greasemonkey Developers group accessible through Google Groups is shedding some light into the darkness. Greasemonkey gets updated regularly and the latest version is always available in a directory on Arantius.info.
The latest version listed there is Greasemonkey 0.8.20080519.0 and not 0.7.20080121.0 as it is listed at the Firefox add-ons website. The new version is compatible with all Firefox 3.0.x releases and not only to Firefox 3 beta 5. If you are missing Greasemonkey dearly I suggest you download the latest version from the homepage above directly.
