If you try to customise your toolbar, there is no icon for it there either. All you can do is disable or enable the add-on through the Tools. Firefox 3.5.5., Win7 64bit I have the same problem.

It shows up in the list of Firefox add-ons, but there is no toolbar button, and no way to access any of the functionality or options.
