The UEFA Euro 2008 cup is just 20 days ahead and I thought I give everyone a head start by listing the possibilities to watch the games online. The tournament takes place in Switzerland and Austria from 7-29 June 2008 and will be aired live in many countries throughout the world. That does not help much if no TV is around and your team is playing. Chances are good that you can still watch the games if you have a computer that is connected to the Internet around.
Several applications will be needed to watch the games. The so called P2P apps stream different tv stations, mostly from Asia, which generally means that the language will be Chinese, but some are in English as well. I would suggest to download the applications as soon as possible because servers will definitely be overrun when the UEFA Euro 2008 begins.
Applications that allow you to watch the UEFA Euro 2008 Online:
Sopcast (Linux Version)
TVAnts
TVU Player
Those three applications should make a good start. It’s a bit difficulty to tell yet which stations will broadcast which games and I will definitely update this thread (or link to a new one) listing the games and the stations that broadcast them. You can be sure that most of the games will be available in one of these applications. Most channels overlap anyway and are available in most of these applications.

Hi all,
I live in Poland so till now I have used http://meczyki.pl/ website to check where I can watch various sport events. If you scroll down a little bit you will see a list of sport events for today and tomorrow. I am quite sure that during Euro 2008 the list will be updated of Euro games.
It would be fine if you put some more links where information of upcoming sport events are placed. I suppose there should be at least few more…
Do you know any pages in English about the same subject?
Forza Italia! I can’t wait for the Euro’s to show up!! My days off from work have already been booked ;)
Kinda good…But i prefer television for this event!
My app of choice will be zattoo, with ARD and ZDF coverage live coverage of the major games.
@ Jakob… that is IF your office allows you to watch TV! LOL
I’ve been able to watch most of the Champions league games from my laptop at the office ;)
Mal I did not mention Zattoo because it is only available in a few countries yet, but if it is available I suggest to use it because it offers best quality and the native language ;)

its a shame england didnt qualify!
I am in the UK now but come from Poland. If the Poland matches aren’t on normal TV over here I would love to watch using this method. Thanks.

“HOW THE F@%K CAN POLAND NOT WIN :’(”
Because the best Polish player is on the German team… he probably felt guilty as hell scoring those goals because he didn’t even celebrate.
