This tip only works if you want to open all of the bookmarks stored in a folder in the bookmarks menu. If that is the case, then it is a great method.

You can do all of them at one time.
1) Bookmarks
2) Show All Bookmarks or {Ctrl+Shift+B}
3) Right click the Show All Bookmarks
4) Select Open all In Tabs

If you tend to open the same bookmarks regularly try out the Morning Coffee extension available via add-ons/GetExtensions in Firefox. Kind of like having a butler bring you your newspapers in the morning. A “must have” if you’re a regular reader of some sites (like this one!).

I’d also be interested in a plugin that would open a bookmark in a new tab ever x number of seconds rapid fire style.

There’s an extension called All-In-One-Sidebar that leaves the Bookmarks open, as well as displaying other cool stuff like history; downloads; extensions and themes; display website/source code/about: information; and page info.

that can be done with mouse, when using laptop without mouse, there is no middle click.

Salz: Yes i know that but it removes all currently open tabs and loads all bookmarks in that folder. I want to select a few bookmarks without having to open the menu multiple times.

martin, can we change firefox behavior. by default click bookmark will open in current tab, can we change it to be open in new tab?
