Concerning SMPlayer which I use myself, I have found an interesting pack, &quot;a full package of MPlayer for Windows and the MPUI front-end.&quot;, which includes, in that one pack, all codecs, MPlayer as well as SMPlayer, enabling you to choose between MPlayer and SMPlayer for the front-end. Works fine, regularly updated :
