I did try sending a few sms through Gizmo. I am located in India and the sms failed to deliver. Not sure if this is only the case with Indian networks. The other option is Jaxtr, though it does not support many countries, the service was quite perfect. I could send a sms and I got it in a couple of seconds. That I say is really cool.. The only limit is 63 characters.

I had the verification number readable here in Firefox, but though the carrier concerned was in the list, my message – accepted and notified as having been sent – never arrived…

The Image-Problem seems to be on your side of the show, my FF 2.0.0.13 (haven’t updated it…obviously ^^ ..whatever) shows it correctly.
But I seem to be unable to receive it on my WM6-Device. *shrugs*
