One-Way Email services, also known as disposable emails or throwaway emails are a great way to anonymize your data when signing up for websites or services. It sometimes happens that I need to access information that are located in a members only area of a forum for instance. I know that I will be visiting that forum once to retrieve the information and that I most likely will never come back.
That’s the main reason why I’m using one-way emails, to signup at websites that force you to signup before you can access information. Most disposable emails are not risk free especially if you use them to signup at a service that you do use regularly. If someone were to discover your email he would be able to access the account at the website of the disposable email service. They are free for everyone, remember ? He could request a new password for the website and hack your account for instance.
The following list contains only those one-way email services that I do use regularly for all kinds of purposes. All are free to be used and require no registration whatsoever.
Blockfilter – You can create a email @newsups.com. All incoming emails are deleted after 2 hours automatically.
Guerrilla mail – create a random email on the fly that lasts for 15 minutes. You can extend that period for additional periods.
Mailinator – probably the most popular disposable email website. Offers some alternate domain names that redirect mails to the same mailbox. Great if the original mailinator url is banned from a site.
I know that the list is a bit short but these are all that I do use regularly.

I use gishpuppy, which you can allso get as a firefox addon, great for competitions etc.
Just right click and clik gishpuppy, can have as many email addresses as you like, and name them what you like.
I simply use my old mail account, which eventually became spam & crap account for temporary registrations and stuff. I bet you don’t have an account with over a thousand mails at least third of which is spam… :D
Spam Gourmet is another one similar to gish – www.spamgourmet.com
I like it because you can put an upper limit on the number of emails you can receive via the created address, after which, it’s just a dead address.
And don’t forget bugmenot as an alternative when trying to log into a site you’ll probably never use again.
Here’s another – http://10minutemail.com/
I use 10 minutemail
http://10minutemail.com/10MinuteMail/index.html
Works like a charm :)
I use temporary inbox. It’s a toolbar for firefox that lets you generate an email address (through the right click menu or from the toolbar) and then it saves the name of the email address. That way you can just hit the “check” button and it automatically logs you in to the site to check your email. After 6 hours it disposes of all the emails that you recieved in there.
@Tobey I’m not sure if that’s something to be proud of ;)

whateveryouwantATyopmail.com
.Keeps mail for 5 days or manually delete
.No need to create account in advance, just go to site and enter whatever address name you gave out
.Has Firefox/IE7 extension
I use dodgit.com ,clean and clear, previously mentioned by you.
I’ve been using www.spamex.com (also can reverse spell as xemaps.com). Cost is $10/year for up to 500 email addresses at any one time. I have a toolbar button setup and can create a new address with 2-3 clicks (depending on if I am logged on or not). You can reply to an email received through spamex and it will scrub header email tracks, so no one knows where you replied from. I couldn’t live without this service. It’s proven very reliable and is rarely down.
You can also have multiple gmail addresses. I have 2 right now. Just signout when done and you will be presented with the sign-on screen.
Then there is www.inbox.com, www.mail.com and a whole slew of others.
