It’s Wednesday and you all know what that means, it is time for the weekly software updates thread. This week was rather exciting with lots of updates for popular applications, actually so many that it was quite hard to decide about the software update of the week.
I had to make a decision nevertheless and the update of the week award goes to Teracopy. Not because it had the most impressive changes but because it is such an awesome application that it deserves to be mentioned here.
If you know of an application that has been updated but not mentioned in this thread reply in the comments and I will make sure I include it in the list and watch it from then on.

MediaCoder 0.6.1.4068 - universal audio and video transcoder.
Media Player Classic 6.4.9.1 Beta - an excellent lightweight media player.
Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool 1.39 - checks the computer for several infections and removes them.
Mozilla Firefox Portable Edition 3.0 Beta 4 - portable version of Firefox 3 Beta 4 which does not interfere with another version of Firefox that is installed on the system.
Mozilla Sunbird 0.8 RC1 - cross plattform standalone calendar.
nLite 1.4.5 Beta - strip components from Windows before installation.
OpenOffice 2.4.0 RC4 - the fourths release candidate of Open Office 2.4.
Picasa 2.7 Build 37.49 - picture organizer and finder.
RivaTuner 2.08 - tuner for video cards. I use it to automatically reduce the fan speed in 2D and low 3D mode.

Songbird 0.5 RC1 - media player powered by Mozilla.
System Explorer 1.4 - provides detailed system stats.
TeraCopy 2.0 Beta 3 - copy files in Windows faster.

WildBit Viewer 5.2 Alpha 3.0 - another excellent image viewer.
