I've been setting icons on folders for a long time. I use this to distinguish one folder from another. It looks better also. I also use this to tell me when I have installed something. I set the icon when I have completed an install.

Now, you can do this via the right-click properties in Windows Explorer. However, I have been using an app called Folder Tweaker (also from Donation Coder) here:

The advantage of Icon Any Folder seems to be that it will run through a folder and all its sub-folders, which is useful.

Very cool Martin! I will try this one. This is a new twist to the already available utilities that allow you to change the folder icons.
