uTorrent 1.7.7 fixes two remote crash bugs

A new stable version of uTorrent has been released two days ago that fixes two remote crash bugs that were affecting several version of the popular Bittorrent client. Users who have not updated yet are advised to update as soon as possible to get rid of the security vulnerability.

Version 1.7.7 build 8179 of uTorrent fixes one remote crash bug in Webui, the web interface of uTorrent and one possible remote crash bug with the extension protocol. The newest version can be downloaded from the official uTorrent download page.

In addition a new alpha version of uTorrent 1.8 1.8 build 8188 has been released yesterday which can be downloaded form the forum thread where it was announced. Please note that an alpha version is released for testing purposes only.
