I just tryed. Had to pay 1.99 Euros for 1 month use. But hey… it works!! It is well worth the almost-2-euros.

hello,

i am still able to use hotspot shield to listen to pandora in the office but when i tried to do the same at home and at a friend’s pc, its either the “technical difficulties, our engineers are scrambling to fix things” sign appears or the pandora player will not totally load so there’s a white square covering the player. i don’t know if its because the pc at home is using windows 7 or if its because the pc at work starts up differently — when i turn on the computer a black screen appears and i have to choose between pressing F1 or F2 before the usual windows ui appears.

if somebody can point me to the right direction, i can check the settings of the pc at work to figure out why it still works there. i’m on the verge of quitting and just being content with streaming magnatune so any response would really be appreciated.

Actually www.globalpandora.com works great still. They changed to it to premium only but it’s really cheap though.

I deliberately withheld the proxy name, as I didn’t want it barred but that seems to have completely gone down the pan now. The error message has changed to the common one about “technical difficulties” that seems to pop up on every proxy now.

Now can’t get Pandora successfully at all. Looks like it’s loading properly, but when it’s almost complete, the animated “cover details” that scroll along don’t move, with just one edge showing on the right hand side and eventually I get a box that says “It’s taking longer than expected to figure out the perfect song to play next. The music should be playing soon, but if you get tired of waiting, try switching to one of your other stations.” That’s it. It never goes away, as it has done in the past. I’ve done the recommendations in Pandoras’s FAQ re. flash but no joy. I’ve also noticed that my log-in details aren’t being remembered either. (connected?). Have the same problem from all my computers using either “Open Pandora” (the stand-alone dedicated mini-”browser”) IE or Firefox, so I’m assuming it must be something odd about the proxy I’m using. Any suggestions?

I used Pandora as a music discovery service. Found some great bands like Seether that way.

Now, if I want to find bands who are not signed up to big labels, such as the EMIs and BMGs of the world, I have no choice really but to torrent albums on mass, until I find something I like.

So basically this is a huge victory for Torrent sites. Hooray for piracy. Arrh!

All the proxy solutions seem to be displaying the message “We`re having unexpected technical difficulties. Our engineers are scrambling to fix things. Please try again later”

I can only assume that they have implemented a block for proxies … I do wonder if they now require you to install a small client program on your machine as I did see a rather strange message suggesting this just prior to the constant ‘unexpected technical difficulties’ message

Unfortunatly all voices across the web regrading this appear to have fallen silent. Any feedback from anyone in the know would be welcomed

Within the space of an hour I seem to have lost it. Was OK. Now getting a box from Pandora that says: “We`re having unexpected technical difficulties. Our engineers are scrambling to fix things. Please try again later”. I`ve seen this previously. Has it been blocked?

“All the choices that you have at the original Pandora website as well. I did no try those though and would be cautious to use them. This service is great but it would mean that you would enter your login data, like email, username and password on their site and this is a security risk.”
I am in the UK and originally registered using a disposable e-mail address via www.spamgourmet.com which was accepted although I found I didn`t need to log in using Global and all previously created “stations” were all still there. Yippeeeee!!
