I actually stopped using my iphone. It is big and bulky and not very female oriented. It doesn’t fit in a pocket for girls clothes. It takes up half the space in my purse. I can’t take it night clubbing.
I just want a phone, text, and a to-do list app. and my itunes playlist. I sent an e-mail to apple requesting a smaller phone for “tweens”. The iphone 3G is for people that have a job and not for students. Parents won’t spend that kind of money for data packages for their kids. They will buy a Nano size iphone with basic features without internet for the kids.

I am tempted to try the small iphone that is made in China… I think it is called the K08, with double sim card….

yeah I agree with the NO INTERNET thing but the iphone has internet and u end up getting a BILL IN A BOX that’s how much it costs and for ppl who want an iphone but can not afford 1 would be able to pay for this its like $$$199$$$ and ppl will bye them :) but they r pretty gay lol

should be able to have the OPTION if you want to pay for internet or not, but every phone these days SHOULD be available with internet

I think if there is no internet access, that would be a big drawback. In this day and age, our gadgets do need to be up to date. However, from a point of view of cost, it will open the market to those who currently cannot afford the iphone. I love small, as think small is beautiful, however the internet access is such a plus, I personally could not now do without it

I know it’s pretty obviously a fake but if you need more proof it clearly says no internet, but there is a Wifi signal strength bar in the top left, and the glare on the home buttons is identical meaning it is just a scaled down version of the original picture. Also apple would not do this as the app store’s apps would not be compatible with this new hardware.

I’m definitely more interested in an iphone nano if it does exist. As much as I’d love to have an iphone and the internet at my fingertips wherever i go, the $30/month access charge is as much as I pay for high speed to my home. I can’t justify paying for internet twice, but having wifi like an ipod touch would be the next best thing. If this doesn’t pan out, I’ll likely have a phone and an ipod touch to have the best of both world.

Apple would never make a phone without internet. Plain and simple. When Steve Jobs announced the first iPhone, he emphasized “a widescreen ipod, revelutionary new phone, and a mobile internet device.” Its these things that currently define the iPhone, and the mobile internet is one of the things I use more than any other feature, and I seriously doubt that it would be excluded to make a smaller device. look what they were able to do with the 3rd gen ipod shuffle. More features in a smaller package. this is definitely a fake.

Look, The nano appears to still have wifi access which is some common place it is like having 3G, plus the huge cost barrier for a lot of people isn’t the cost of the device it is the hugely expensive data plans you have to pay for every month. I think it has a market look at how many people have bought the shuffle (ugh). All that said this point is likely mute since this picture looks faked.
