Wednesday is the day of the week where I look back at the software updates of the last seven days and put them all in one huge article that helps everyone keep up to date with software that has been updated. Only software that was mentioned before here at Ghacks is listed in the article, everything else received its own article anyway and will be included in later articles.
All entries in the list have a short description about what their main purpose is and a link to the developers homepage where they can be downloaded.
If you know of an application that has been released or updated let me know about it so that I can update my bookmarks and feeds to be able to observe that tool as well. I do hope that you like the new look with the screenshots that have been included.

Buddi 2.9.17.0 RC2 – a personal accounting software.
DVDFab HD Decrypter 4.0.1.6 Beta – Copies DVD Movies from DVD to hard drive removing protections in the process.
Eraser 5.86 RC2 – Delete files so that they cannot be recovered afterwards by normal means including applications like Recuva.
foobar2000 0.9.5 Beta 6 – a music player that supports many formats and is highly customizable.
Free Download Manager 2.5.731 – A great download manager comparable to Orbit Downloader.
Fresh UI 7.96 – A tool to optimize and tweak Microsoft Windows.
IE7pro 2.0 Beta 2 – The add-on for the Internet Explorer 7. A must have if you have to use this browser.
Joost 1.0.3 Beta – Web TV show client with a good selection of pre-recorded channels.
Mp3tag 2.39h Beta – One of the best mp3 tag editors
OpenOffice 2.3.1 – An Open Source replacement for Microsoft Office.
Opera 9.50 Build 9681 Beta – Probably the best browser currently.
Orbit downloader 2.4.3 – The best download manager for Windows in my opinion.
Paint.NET 3.20 Beta 2 – A image editor comparable to GIMP.
Recuva 1.09.190 – A file recovery utility that can bring back files that have been deleted in Windows.
SpeedFan 4.34 Beta 36 – Used to monitor computer temperatures and regulate fan speed.
TeraCopy 2.0 Beta 2 – Copy files faster in Windows with this fast copier.
UpdateStar 1.1.246 Beta – Scans your computer for software updates.
VLC 0.8.6d – a great video player working out of the box with many codecs.
Winamp 5 Full 5.51 Build 1741 Beta and Winamp 5 Lite 5.51 Build 1741 Beta – a popular music player
WinMerge 2.7.6 Beta – A visual text file differencing and merging tool.
XnView 1.92 Beta – This is an excellent image viewer.
