first switch off the phone then press call button * button 3 and then switch on off button press all this buttons at a time……..then till the main screen does not comes dont leave the buttons then mobile will be format your mobile will not restarted again when you switch on….

I am using nokia 5130xpres music,my problem is i have updated my mobile earlyer it was so nice & working clearly but after some days the screen saves option was vanished,and many software problems switch off on.CAN I UPDATE AGAIN WITH THE SAME VISION .ALSO HOW.

Some notes.

If you hunt around on the Nokia forums, you can find a change log for each software update. They must be released from Nokia somewhere….

From my previous reading, updates can have negative results, like the update to the N73 Music Edition made the music player a permanently running program, sucking the program memory and making it hard to run any memory hungry apps…

Also, be incredibly careful when updating your phone, or you might ‘brick’ it (turn it into nothing more useful than a brick). Basically, if you interrupt the update process while it is taking place, it can kill the phone. I nearly did this and was lucky enough that the update had almost completed, so was able to save the phone. Others have not been so lucky, so be careful.

The first step really is to check if your phone needs a firmware update.

Or, the nokia pc suite has a built in feature so you cna check if you need to update your firmware or if one is available.

I hate my Nokia or it could just be my cell phone provider. basically I can’t use the software ( pc suite ) because either Nokia or Telus, my cell provider, has locked my phone. I can’t see Nokia doing it because then releasing software would be moot. I have the Nokia 6125i and I just want to smash it !!!!!!!
