Came across this site http://www.vistahd.org/ giving free dreamscenes.have been visiting the site regularly and they update the site with 2 scenes everyday.but the timings of updates are not fixed. some of the scenes are pretty good.

I suppose Microsoft managed to put them more into the spotlight with Dreamscene. You should also consider that computers running Windows 98 were probably put to a serious test if they would run a animated background.

I don’t understand one thing: what it is all about to excite, if video wallpapers where introduced in Windows 98 ? Why now they are good, and in past not?
