Comments on: Download the Windows XP Service Pack 3

I updated windows xp which was sp.3 & now it’s asking for new key but it’s not accepting the original key!!! Please help as I’m unable to get into my laptop & i need to do my work on it? Is it possible to system restore from the bios setup? I’m using a acer aspire 3050.

I HAD the same problem. My fix was to open task manager and end the Nero Burning Rom processes (NBService.exe, NMBgMonitor.exe, NMIndexingService.exe, and NMIndexStoreSvr.exe). I hope that helps. In essence…google your running processes and end whatever you KNOW is not part of the Service Pack 3 and Windows XP processes.

Trying to install XP SP3. Get to “running processes after install” and never seems to end. Every so often disk lights will flash. How many hours to install SP3? Any ideas?

I feel the urge to be a proud xp service park 3 user. Please drop by me with the nesesary floppy-diskettes and install service 3 xp park on my HOME computer.

I’m not at home monday, becouse I’m attending my “jew’s harp” lessons mondays, but every other day (and night) is fine.

Also please tell me how to sleapstorm service park 3 to my monochrome monitor !!
