winmount can open APE file(Mount to Virtual CD-ROM),and then Windows Media Player can play ape files normally

I just use the K-Lite Mega Codec pack from http://www.codecguide.com/

It gives me every codec out there. And plays real media and quicktime without those annoying nags.

Don’t you want to test new player on BASS engine? It called AIMP, and available on http://aimp.ru/

I find it very useful and likes it’s sound.
And it claims to have out-of-box Ape support.
