And yes, I agree completely, YIM 9.0.0.2162 (latest release at this point) is very versatile and stable.

Neelam, you didn’t explain the problem too clearly. Do you mean that you get a corrupt installation download? Your PC may have a virus/viruses causing problems or the download link was affected by an internet worm; this is just a guess.

@ noobs who need the “official site” – http://beta.messenger.yahoo.com

The new YIM’s pretty versatile and feels good, but there are a couple of coding bugs and a memory error, but it still runs fine for me. (I’m running Win2k, sp 4, hate me :P )

I’m hoping they’ll release more skins or develop a customizable feature to design your own skins (with minimal hassle) sometime in the near future.

Great job on improving an already great messenger, Yahoo! :)
