It is Wednesday again and that means it is time for taking a deeper look at software updates that have been released in the last seven days. This week has not seen that many updates. Only eleven softwares were updated which is a new low for a week.
Maybe I missed all the important updates this time but I suspect those software developers had better things in mind than to update their software this week. Maybe enjoy the last beautiful days of the year..

CodecInstaller 2.7.0 – Analyzes media files to find out which codecs they are using.
DVD Flick 1.3.0.0 Beta – DVD authoring tool.
Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool 1.34 – a basic anti-spyware software developed by Microsoft.
nLite 1.4 RC – remove components permanently from Windows.
ooVoo 1.1.0.4 Beta – Video chat software.
RapGet 1.40 – download manager for download sites such as Rapidshare and Megaupload.
SpeedFan 4.34 Beta 21 – control temperatures and fan speed.
Vista Codec Package 4.5.1 – I’m not a fan of codec packages but if you want a fast solution try this.
Vize 0.6 Beta – A GUI enhancer for Microsoft Windows Vista.
XAMPP for Windows 1.6.4 – Probably the easiest way to setup an Apache, MySQL, PhP and Pearl environment in Windows.
XnView for Windows 1.91.5 – Image Viewer that I personally use.
