Top 14 Firefox Themes

I really never bothered to take a look at the available themes for the Firefox browser thinking that all they would do was to add more Kilobytes to Firefox’s memory consumption. Besides that: what cool looking themes could possibly be available for Firefox anyway ?

With some time at hand I decided to explore the depths of all themes published for Firefox at the Mozilla website and try the ones that would appeal to me. But first, I had to find a way to enable those new themes which is not as trivial as it sounds.

Firefox themes can be enabled in the same menu that is used to enable and disable extensions. Click on Tools > Add-ons to go there and select Themes from the tab menu there. Firefox has to be restarted every time a new theme is activated.

Hey! Martin, it might be time to update this list of popular Themes for Firefox, not only do some of them mesh with CNET’s Opinion, GEES!!!!

But at least three of them are not COMPATIBLE with the last 5-6 latest releases of Firefox…..

We need some new looks anyway, I’ve lived in all the 10 or so Skins that are COMPATIBLE with Ver .12 for so long I might have to choose some Recomends from CNET Gees!!!!!!

It would certainly be nice to get an update on the best themes :D Although I am secrely a Mac-wannabe (and had the iFox theme for yonks) I’m now using a cute theme with a cartoon fox that runs when a page is loading called ‘Foxkeh’ :)

i agree..these are some very poor themes apart from redshift v2 which is just savage, pity its not available on the new firefox yet
