The artists make most of their money from live gigs. The record companies make more of a profit off the songs than anyone. the song writers make most of their money off of radio play. so really your mostly stealing from sony, warner bros., tower records, ect. If they don't want people downloading then they should put out complete good albums like led zepplin and twiztid. maybe add a special bonus live performance dvd. i don't mind paying $15-$20 at the store if i'm getting a good product.
