KGB Keylogger offers the user several ways to log user activity on a computer running Windows XP, Windows 2000 or Windows Vista. It can not only be used to log keystrokes but also to make screenshots, record clipboard data, log programs and websites that have been accessed and record general computer activity.
The KGB Keylogger can be configured to monitor all users or only selected users on the operating system. Each of the different ways to monitor a user can be activated and deactivated with ease. The logfile that is accessible is giving exact details about the activity, the data and time it took place, the event type (screenshot, website, keystroke for example) and the application that has been used.
The logs can be filtered by date and activity as well. The most important feature of a keylogger however is to remain hidden in the background. It would not make much sense to run a keylogger that is detected by the task manager or an antivirus software.

KGB Keylogger has a stealth function which hides it from various means of detection. AntiVir detected the keylogger during installation but it was not able to detect it running in the background after activating the stealth features. The keylogger is not visible in the task manager afterwards and does not appear in the system tray, as an desktop icon or start menu entry as well.
The keylogger can be configured to not only record keystrokes that are visible but also those that are not visible. The combination CTRL + ALT + TAB would also be recorded this way for instance.
It is possible to exclude applications from being logged or set a filter that only logs applications that have been added to it. You could configure it to only log activities in email clients and web browsers for instance.
Reports can additionally be send my email or uploaded to ftp with the option to clean the logs after a successful operation. This is a good way to keep an eye on a computer that is not locally accessible.
Features:
- Stealth mode and visible mode of work
- Logs keyboard input, including language-specific characters
- Logs Clipboard entries
- Monitors and logs network activities
- Custom list of monitored applications
- Detailed information for each log entry, including the time stamp, application name and window caption
- Screenshots at custom frequency (regular intervals or on mouse clicks)

KGB Keylogger is a very versatile software that works incredibly well if you activate the stealth feature.I suggest you give it a try if you are looking for a great keylogger.

Seriously dude, WTF?
I’m usually quite lenient when it comes to shady stuff (e.g. torrents), but advertising a keylogger? WHY?
I decided to not mention the moral point of view when reviewing the application. I know that keyloggers can be used to spy on users and this is probably the main application and in most cases illegal.
There are however other possibilities such as controlling that no one is using your computer when you are not using it.
There is NO morality where the tool is concerned. It is neither moral nor immoral. It is a tool. Morality is up to the user.
Example: You suspect your son is turning fag soon after he’d joined a teen chat group. You would definitely want a keylogger to see if some priest is chatting up your son for some naked action.
Or if you’re an owner of a company and suspect your sales people of sabotaging your client relations. Keylogger will let you see what a disgruntled idiot is doing behind your back. And it’s legal, it’s YOUR PC.
Next thing I’ll hear from you morality cops is that PC’s are immoral. They allow sexual predators to prey on children. We should ban PC’s along with keyloggers.
I downloaded kgb keylogger and its invisible. I forgot how to bring it back up?
