Finally a new theme

Great Theme, I really like the theme ,i would use this theme when i make my move over to Wordpress.Great work.I feel the Categories section is too long, a Tag cloud might look more neat in the place.

Use Firefox with Adblock Plus Extension if you do not like it, that will get rid of it.

Yeah awesome design Martin. Custom is always better than a template. Just a suggestion, the buttons on top might look little better if they had the same blue color on hover as the logo banner.

I don’t use Internet Explorer at all and in fact am already using the latest version of Firefox

For me the sidebar takes up way too much space, and is much more noticeable than the content itself.
Did you do that on purpose?

Joe the sidebar is not bigger than that of the old theme. It was not noticed in the old theme because it was separated in two sidebars.

in my opinion the readability of the old theme was better.
also the “about ghacks” part breaks into the news part resulting in a optical disrate of the news section.

considering that i am only representing 25% so far ;D , maybe it would be nice to implement the old theme as a selectable theme.

Wow, it will take time to get to the new theme but its definately more attractive.

I think the sidebar is too dark but in general i like it.

as i recall the in the old theme the news had it’s space in the center. the links ads etc. were placed in a narrow space to the right and left. now there is empty space to the left and right and the ads/links part/tab/section takes 30-40% of the remaining space in the center hence stealing focus from news

the old style looked IMO more legitimate/reputable then this new “default omg webX.0 shine blog style” theme
