What should I do at this point?

Every time I unpack the multiple winrar files it says that the archive is either in unknown format or damaged. It's basically a tool for letting you drag and drop a tons of files and peform a batch operation on them. There is a video on the page showing how its used for extracting, but you could use it for all kinds of things like this.
Warning: it seems to be a bit confusing for people to learn how to use :)

If you work with a lot of files that need unpacking and prefer to keep things nicely organised as you download, you might find ExtractNow more useful - it's a great bit of freeware designed exclusively for unpacking multiple archives.
http://www.extractnow.com/
You can just drag a top level folder to it and have all subdirectories added, or use explorer integration. I can't live without it :)

IZArc’s function is nice, it’s found in other packages too but does mean rar files have to be in the same directory.
