I have switched to Mac a year ago and have no regret. FYI, the MS Office for Mac 2004 cannot open docx given that this is MS product. I will not upgrade to 2008 version but switch to iWork when enough annoying issues occur from using the existing MS Office for Mac 2004. Good luck!
