I did play the multiplayer part a bit further and must say that it really rocks. I was playing on a beginner server with 35 other players competing for the best time on several tracks and it was awesome.

Great game.

if you really want the full experience you need to buy Trackmania Nations (Its all trackmania enviroments rolled into one game)

to be honest, the copy protection (see http://www.boycottstarforce.net) was the reason, i didn’t install the game, although i’m very intersted in playing it…

Could you believe that this FREEWARE game (not originally, however) contains a copy protection? StarForce, to be precise.

Otherwise, yes it’s quite good fun for few hours.

De pe TrackmaniaNations.com puteţi descărca jocul (are peste 200MB!!! dar merită – ca să nu ziceţi că la CNet.ro se recomandă doar jocuri mici…) şi apoi aici găsiţi un patch fără de care nu puteţi de exemplu juca online. Presupunând că aţi descărcat şi instalat jocul să vedem ce oferă. Posibilitatea pentru practică mai întâi . Aveţi zeci de piste dispuse progresiv ca dificultate, care vă permit să vă acomodaţi cu maşina de curse. Primele nivele vor părea comice de-a dreptul (gen: o curbă şi gata traseul), dar mai încolo veţi ajunge la nivele unde drumul este întrerupt (deci trebuie sărit peste hău) sau unde unele porţiuni sunt pe un perete vertical (uh, îţi trebuie viteză).
