Firefox 2.0.0.4 available on Mozilla ftp

The latest version of Mozilla Firefox has been uploaded to the ftp mirrors to prepare for the storm of Firefox users who want to update their favorite browser once the new version is announced officially through the website and the update check from within Firefox.

Versions for all operating systems (Windows, Linux and Macintosh) and languages can be downloaded as of now from the official ftp site. If you get a to many connections message try out this mirror ftp site.

Cautious or inexperienced users should wait for the official announcement but early adopters should go for it. This is the release version and not some nightly build.

    Can you be more patronizing?

    Intelligent users should wait for the normal update notification and days beyond that as
    corrections are often made.

    Impulsive, early adopters can hyperventilate and download this to make themselves feel special.
